Technicians must be able to:

Troubleshoot and test machine systems, compare test results to specifications to determine if the system is working as designed and perform any necessary repairs.

Use computer-based service manuals, diagnostic software and Service Information Systems to correctly address technical issues and place parts orders as required.

Write complete and factual service reports.

Evaluate parts to determine reusability and cause of failure.

Be a life-long learner.
